TalentTrust’s Privacy and Data Protection Policy

At Talent Trust (TT), we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our volunteers, donors, and partners. This statement explains how we handle your information in a transparent and secure manner.

1. What We Collect and Why

We only collect personal data that is necessary to fulfill our mission of connecting business professionals with non-profit organizations. This typically includes:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number to stay in touch.

  • Professional Profiles: Skills and experience to match you with high-impact projects.

  • Donation Details: NRIC numbers to process contributions and issue tax-deductible receipts.

  • Photos and/or Videos captured at our events, for use in reporting and sharing the impact of TalentTrust’s work.

We will always notify you and seek your consent when collecting your personal data, unless otherwise required by law.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to facilitate project matches, manage events, and share updates about our impact.

  • Innovation & Efficiency: We use secure, corporate-grade Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (such as Gemini for Google Workspace) to assist our small team in administrative tasks like summarizing project reports or optimizing volunteer matching.

  • Your Privacy is Protected: Our AI tools are configured with enterprise-grade safeguards. This means your data is isolated to TalentTrust; it is never used to train public AI models and is not reviewed by humans outside of our organization.

TalentTrust will only use, disclose your Personal Data for the purposes you have been notified of and consented to or which are applicable under applicable law and regulations.

3. Protecting Your Information

We treat your data as “Private and Confidential”. We use industry standard security measures including:

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): All TT staff accounts require a secondary verification step to prevent unauthorized access.

  • Safe Identification: In line with Singapore’s national standards, we do not use NRIC numbers for account logins or to verify your identity on our digital platforms.

  • Secure Transit: We use advanced email authentication (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) to ensure that communications from “@talenttrust.org.sg” are genuine and tamper-proof.

4. Data Sharing and Retention

  • No Selling of Data: We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

  • Retention: We only keep your data for as long as it is needed for our charitable operations or as required by Singapore law. When it is no longer needed, we dispose of it securely.

5. Your Rights and Contacting Us

Under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to access your data, correct any errors, or withdraw your consent at any time.
